{"id":15177,"date":"2018-11-19T16:57:57","date_gmt":"2018-11-19T16:57:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tecnoveritas.net\/?p=15177"},"modified":"2018-11-19T17:06:21","modified_gmt":"2018-11-19T17:06:21","slug":"boem-s-at-the-energy-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tecnoveritas.net\/en\/media\/news\/2018\/boem-s-at-the-energy-day\/","title":{"rendered":"BOEM-S at the Energy Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<div  class=\"nz-section horizontal animate-false full-width-false\"   data-animation-speed=\"35000\" data-parallax=\"false\" style=\"\"><div class=\"nz-row\"><div class=\"col col12  col-animate-false\" data-align=\"left\" data-effect=\"fade-left\" ><div class=\"col-inner\" style=\"\"><div style=\"\" class=\"nz-column-text nz-clearfix\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>On 15<sup>th<\/sup> November the <em>Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Energia e Geologia (LNEG<\/em>) and the <em>Faculdade de Ci\u00eancias e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL)<\/em> organized the <em>Energy Day<\/em>, an event dedicated to the Energy, focused on the Buildings\u2019 Energy, at <em>Campus do Lumiar<\/em>, in Lisbon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class='gap nz-clearfix' style='height:15px'>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event promoted the disclosure of international projects and initiatives associated with the \u201c<em>Solar Heating and Cooling Programme<\/em>\u201d, in order to integrate and stimulate the participation of Portuguese researchers.<\/p>\n<div class='gap nz-clearfix' style='height:10px'>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the event the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Edition of the Conference Cycle, initiated in 2012, took place with the theme &#8220;<em>Net Zero-Energy Buildings<\/em>&#8220;, where several questions were presented and discussed ways of applying the concept to the urban scale, taking in consideration the energetic interaction, the building flexibility and the renewable energy integration, with the goal of finding more sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n<div class='gap nz-clearfix' style='height:10px'>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this context, several entities presented their projects, including the research project &#8220;<em>FIRST &#8211; Mapping flexibility of urban energy systems<\/em>&#8220;, financed by the MIT-Portugal Programme, with the goal of mapping the energy flexibility potential in a visual way, in an existing neighbourhood in Lisbon.<\/p>\n<div class='gap nz-clearfix' style='height:10px'>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Throughout the presentations, the researchers found that it would be interesting to join synergies since all had made advances and discoveries and that collaboration between them could generate much more interesting results.<\/p>\n<div class='gap nz-clearfix' style='height:10px'>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to these early projects, some projects already available on the market were presented, such as EDP, Schneider and TecnoVeritas, which presented BOEM-S with the theme \u201c<em>BOEM-S &#8211; What to do with Big Data? A Smart Platform to Fix, Prevent &amp; Improve Energy Systems<\/em>\u201d, presenting the <span style=\"color: #0aa9ff;\"><em><a class=\"link\" style=\"color: #0aa9ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tecnoveritas.net\/en\/media\/big-data-arrives-at-the-town-hall-of-mafra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">real case of implementation on the Town Hall of Mafra.<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<div class='gap nz-clearfix' style='height:10px'>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a class=\"link\" style=\"color: #0aa9ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tecnoveritas.net\/en\/industry\/products\/boem-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>BOEM-S<\/em><\/a> is now implemented since the beginning of 2018 in different public installations, functioning as a platform for data collection and analysis of several energy elements, such as the lighting, the air conditioning system, in buildings as schools, pools and on the building of the Town Hall.
