With the unstoppable growth of fuel prices and with the latest restrictive legislations on fossil fuel emissions taking place, it becomes more urgent than ever to know the fuel that you are burning, therefore laboratory analysis is one method to analyse your fuel/oil.
Throughout times, fossil fuel and lube oil have suffered an increase in terms of demand, especially with industrialization.
Fuel, diesel, lubricating and hydraulic oils had since very soon found applicability on internal combustion engines, marine diesel engines, industries (as rust and corrosion inhibitors) or diesel-electric power units.

With TecnoVeritas Oil Analysis Kit this kit it becomes easier to shorten the time between the sampling and the analysis result. This is a valuable tool that allows planning your maintenance and reducing any risk of unplanned downtime and expensive repairs.
Regular analysis enables trends to become visible and brings more control to equipment health management.
The kit comprises the following material:
- a vacuum system (a syringe with an appropriate hose);
- 5 test bottles for sample recovery;
- instruction leaflet.
THE STEPS FOR THE ANALYSIS
Sampling: the required samples are taken and sent to TecnoVeritas Laboratory due to the Oil Analysis Kit.
Oil Analysis: we receive the sent sample and characterise it according to high range of parameters typical of this samples such as density, viscosity, water content, sulphur content, flash and fire point, corrosiveness, among others.
Result: the diagnosis of the analysis is quickly made available to the client (within 48 hours), and presents immediate recommendations for actions and valuable explanations in order to avoid critical and undesirable situations.
An analysis on lubricating/hydraulic oil characteristics can help to prevent wear and damage on equipment caused by corrosion process, prolonging their useful life and avoid the formation of deposits.
