TecnoVeritas in cooperation with SSNAME – Shanghai Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers (co-organizer of MARINTEC 2011), held a seminar «A tool for ship energy optimization compliant with IMO MEPC.1/Circ684» on November 29, 2011 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), during the most representative and largest maritime event in Asia, Marintec China 2011.

The focus of the seminar was on the overview of a modern approach to implementation of energy optimization on board, based on the newest equipment and advanced technological solutions developed by TecnoVeritas.
During the seminar, the panel of speakers from Europe and Singapore (Dr Jorge Antunes, CEO, TecnoVeritas and Mr Brent Xiong, Project Manager, TecnoVeritas Asia Pacific) highlighted the best practices and experiences with the various facilities available with the implementation of VEEO. VEEO complies with the latest IMO MPEC.1/Circ.684, but has also a comprehensive software package comprising the following areas: Fuel consumption monitoring, Anti pilferage system, Generators performance, Boilers efficiencies, Voyage energy efficiency, etc.
The seminar targeted technical specialists and major shipyards representatives, consultants and ship owners.
The seminar was attended by 80 participants. Soft copies of TecnoVeritas informational materials were distributed to the participants.
